Hot Shot Potatoes

Saute onion in butter.
Dump into bowl with hash browns. Mix mushroom soup, sour cream and mayonnaise.
Add soup, sour cream and mayonnaise mixture to potato mixture; salt and pepper to taste.
Top with 2 cups crushed Rice Krispies tossed with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Bake in 325Β° oven for 1 hour in 9 x 13-inch pan.
