Hot Sausage Puffs
Hot Sausage Puffs is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot or sweet italian sausage, 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded, 3 c. packaged biscuit mix and 3/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Remove sausage from casings; cook meat in large skillet until no longer pink.
Drain fat; spoon sausage into large bowl and cool.
Add cheese, biscuit mix and water; blend well.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on large cookie sheet, 2-inches apart, and bake in 400Β° oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and browned.
Makes about 75 puffs.
