Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. milk, scalded, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 tsp. salt and 2 pkg. fleischmann's yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Add sugar, shortening and salt to milk and dissolve. Add yeast and sugar in water to dissolve.

When milk has cooled to lukewarm, add dissolved yeast and eggs. Add flour and knead dough lightly. Put in greased bowl and cover lightly.

Let rise to double in bulk.

Knead dough lightly and roll out to about 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter and brush top lightly with melted butter. Fold over and mash edges together.

Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.

Makes about 50 rolls. Recipe can be cut in half.
