Hot Pepper Jelly
Hot Pepper Jelly is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. hot chili peppers (jalapeño or other, 1 with seed, the rest with seed removed), ground, 1 1/2 c. green peppers (some red), 1 large onion, 1 1/2 c. white vinegar and 6 1/2 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place all, except Certo, in a granite pan.
Cook over high heat, stirring constantly.
Bring to a full boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat; add Certo.
Stir well.
Pour into glasses or jars and seal.
Paraffin may be melted and poured on top to seal if jars do not have lids.
