Hot Mustard Cheese Bread
Hot Mustard Cheese Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf french or italian bread, 1 stick butter or margarine, softened, 1/4 c. chopped green onion or chives, 3 tbsp. horseradish mustard and 6 to 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut bread into 20 slices, cutting to, but not through, bottom crust.
Combine butter, onion, mustard, bacon and poppy seed. Spread on both sides of bread slices.
Cut cheese slices in half diagonally.
Place cheese triangles between bread slices.
Wrap bread in foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot. Makes 18 to 20 servings.
