Hot Mushroom Dip
Hot Mushroom Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced, 1 onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Fry bacon until crisp; drain, saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Add mushrooms, onion and garlic to drippings.
Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes.
Mix in flour, salt and pepper.
Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon.
Serve with crackers.
