Hot Mulled Cider
Hot Mulled Cider is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. apple cider or juice, 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed, dash of ground cinnamon, 1 tsp. whole allspice and 1 tsp. whole cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In large saucepan, combine apple cider or juice, brown sugar and nutmeg.
Place cinnamon, allspice and cloves in cheesecloth and tie.
Add to cider mixture.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Remove spice bag.
Serve cider in mugs with orange slices with cloves studded in slices or wedges.
