Hot Fudge Sundaes
Hot Fudge Sundaes is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and vanilla ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
For sauce, in a heavy saucepan, combine chocolate and 1/3 cup water.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted.
Stir in sugar and a dash of salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 8 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and mixture is slightly thickened.
Remove from heat.
Add butter or margarine and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
Serve warm over ice cream.
