Hot Fruit Compote
Hot Fruit Compote is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. sliced peaches, drained, 16 oz. pear halves, drained and coarsely chopped, 16 oz. plums or cherries, drained, 20 oz. pineapple chunks, drained and 6 oz. maraschino cherries, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine all fruit in baking dish (13 x 9-inch).
Combine brown sugar, butter and applesauce in saucepan; heat and stir.
Spoon over fruit and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and pecans.
