Hot Cranberry-Banana Punch
Hot Cranberry-Banana Punch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (48 oz.) bottle cranberry juice cocktail, 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 2 1/2 c. mashed bananas (about 6 medium bananas) and 1 tbsp. ground allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine first 4 ingredients.
Cook over medium high heat, stirring until well blended.
Place four 4-inch squares of cheesecloth together. Place remaining ingredients in center and tie with string; add to punch.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Remove spice bag.
Serve hot. Makes twelve 6 ounce servings.
