Hot Chicken Salad
Hot Chicken Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. toasted bread cubes (1/4-inch), 2 c. chicken, cooked and diced, 1 1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated, 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped and 1/4 c. slivered almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place bread cubes in large aluminum bowl.
Add chicken, onion, celery, cheese, almonds and pepper.
Toss well.
Add lemon juice and mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
Empty into greased casserole dish and bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Good luncheon specialty.
Yields 6 to 9 servings.
