Hot Chicken Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 double chicken breasts, cooked until tender, 1 c. finely chopped celery, 3 cans water chestnuts, drained and sliced, 3 c. mayonnaise and 3 large cans mushrooms, stems and pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook chicken until tender; tear off in bite size pieces.
Mix with remaining ingredients except onion rings and cheese.
Pour into large greased baking dish.
Spread on top French fried onion rings and grated cheese.
Bake at 350Β° until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
This freezes well.
