Hot Buttered Rum is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. brown sugar, 1 lb. granulated sugar (white), 1 lb. butter, 1 pt. vanilla ice cream or butter brickle and rum, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix all ingredients (except rum) and bring to a boil, stirring. Remove from heat; cool, stirring once in awhile.
In a cup, add 1 teaspoon mix and shot of rum to boiling water.
