Hot Breakfast Tea
Hot Breakfast Tea is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 tsp. whole cloves, 2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks, 1/2 tsp. whole allspice, 2 c. water and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine the first 3 ingredients and put in a cheesecloth bag. Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the tea bags. Remove from the heat and cover.
Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and squeeze gently. Add the spice mixture, sugar and juices. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat and let simmer 5 minutes. Remove the spice bag and serve hot. Garnish with orange slices.
Yields 7 1/2 cups.
