Honeyed Carrots with Bacon
Honeyed Carrots With Bacon is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. sliced carrots, 1 1/2 tbsp. margarine, 4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon, 2 tbsp. sliced scallion and 1 tbsp. honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a medium saucepan, bring 3/4 cup water to a boil.
Add carrots.
Cover and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 to 12 minutes or until tender.
Drain carrots. In same saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in carrots and remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until heated through.
Serves 6.
