Honey Bran Bread
Honey Bran Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 3 1/2 tbsp. dry yeast, 6 c. warm water and 2 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Dissolve 1 1/2 cups warm water, 1 tablespoon sugar and yeast in small bowl.
Mix 6 cups water, salt, oil and 1 cup sugar or honey in large 13-quart bowl.
Add yeast, table bran, oats, wheat germ and 5 cups flour.
Let set 15 to 20 minutes.
Add rest of flour until right consistency and let rise.
Shape in loaves and bake at 350Β° for about 30 to 35 minutes.
Makes 8 large loaves.
