Homemade Peach Ice Cream
Homemade Peach Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin, 4 c. light cream, 1 egg, beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine 1/2 cup of sugar, gelatin and half of the cream.
Stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves.
Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg; mix well.
Return to remaining mixture.
Cook and stir until thick, about 1 minute.
Chill.
Add remaining cream, vanilla, almond extract and salt.
Combine peaches and 3/4 cup of sugar.
Add to chilled mixture.
Freeze in ice cream freezer.
