Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Homemade Chocolate Syrup is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. hershey's cocoa (any unsweetened cocoa will do), 1 1/2 c. sugar, dash of salt, 1 c. hot water and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in medium saucepan.
Gradually add water until mixture is smooth.
Stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Allow to cool and cover and refrigerate.
Makes 2 cups syrup (16 ounces).
