Homemade Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. active dry yeast or 2 cakes yeast, 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~), 3 1/2 c. water (85~), 10 to 12 c. robin hood flour and 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water; add remaining water, sugar, salt, shortening and several cups flour.
Beat with spoon until smooth and batter falls from spoon in sheets.
Mix in (by hand) enough flour until dough cleans the bowl.
