Holiday Wassail
Holiday Wassail is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. apple cider, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. whole allspice, 1 tsp. whole cloves and 1 cinnamon stick, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

I use my 30 cup coffee maker, which is a percolator, to make the Wassail.
Put the apple cider in the bottom of the coffee pot. Add the rest of the ingredients into the basket at the top.
Plug in the coffee maker and allow it to perk.
When it stops, the Wassail is done, and it will stay hot during the time you need it. Serve in glass or china cups.
Brandy can be added at this time if desired.
