Holiday Sweetbread
Holiday Sweetbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 egg yolks, 1 c. sugar, 1 large cake yeast, 1/4 c. warm water and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix yeast and water.
Let set 5 minutes.
Heat milk and butter; cool until lukewarm.
Add milk mixture to egg mixture, yeast and vanilla. Mix in flour; knead 10 minutes.
Put in greased bowl; punch down. Raise again; punch down.
Shape in regular loaves or braided loaves.
Brush gently with egg white.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
