**Holiday Lizzies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. butter, 2 eggs, well beaten, 4 tbsp. wine and 1 1/2 tbsp. sweet milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream sugar and butter.
Add well beaten eggs.
Flour fruit and nuts with 1/2 of flour.
Add remaining flour, soda, wine and milk to creamed mixture.
Then add floured fruit and nuts to dough and mix well.
Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake in slow oven (300Β°) for 25 minutes or less.
