Holiday Fruit Alaska
Holiday Fruit Alaska is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. blueberries, 1 c. strawberries, sliced, 1 c. bananas, sliced, 1 c. grapes, halved and 1/4 c. kirsch, cherry, brandy or syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 500Β°.
Mix the fruit and syrup together and chill.
Prepare meringue in a large bowl by beating egg whites until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, about 2 tablespoons at a time.
Beat until stiff peaks form.
Portion the fruit into custard dishes of ovenproof serving dish.
Top and seal each dish with a generous dollop of meringue and place on cookie sheet and bake 3 minutes.
