Holiday Date Pudding
Holiday Date Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour and 3/4 to 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a 13 x 9-inch pan, put brown sugar and water and let come to a boil.
Mix sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, salt and vanilla, then add dates and nuts.
The trick is to add pudding to hot syrup without disturbing syrup much.
Spoon evenly into syrup.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
May need to adjust time if oven is not accurate.
