Holiday Coconut Rum Balls
Holiday Coconut Rum Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed (3 1/3 c.), 1 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans, 1 1/3 c. sweetened flaked coconut, 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk and 1/4 c. rum, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, combine crushed cookies, nuts and coconut. Add sweetened condensed milk and rum; mix well.
Chill 4 hours. Dip palms of hands in powdered sugar and shape batter into 1-inch balls.
Roll in powdered sugar; cover and store in fridge.
If desired, reroll in powdered sugar before serving.
May be made ahead and stored in fridge for several weeks.
