Himmel Torte
Himmel Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 8 oz. sliced dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Beat eggs and sugar, mixing well. Add flour and baking powder. Add dates and nuts.
Mix gently.
Pour into greased 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350Β° about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
When cool, break into pieces.
Mix in drained pineapple. Add whipped cream atop.
Serve in sherbet glasses.
