High Nutrition Snack is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. organic hulled sunflower seeds, 2 1/2 tsp. water and tamari, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sunflowers are a favorite snack for Russian people, as popcorn is for many Americans. A nutritious snack can be made by roasting 1 cup preferably organic hulled sunflower seeds in a skillet (use no oil).
Take care to shake the skillet and stir constantly so as not to burn the seeds.
Add 2 proportions of water to 1 of tamari* or soy sauce when the seeds are lightly brown, until fluid dries in skillet. Eat warm.
(Careful not to burn.)
