Heshwi
Heshwi is an moderately easy dinner. Made with ground beef (any amount), rice (any amount), chicken broth or water, minced onion (1 small per lb.) and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Brown beef and onions in butter; do not drain.
Add spices (can adjust to taste).
Add rice and brown for a few minutes, mixing well.
Add chicken broth, water or combination of both (2 to 2 1/4 cups per cup rice).
Bring to a boil and cook over very low heat until rice is done, stirring once or twice.
Serve with tomato and cucumber salad and plain yogurt.
