Herbed Cheese Biscuits
Herbed Cheese Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 2 tsp. dill, 1 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. vegetable shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a mixing bowl, mix flour, baking powder, dill and salt. With a fork, cut in shortening until mixture looks like coarse meal.
Stir in shredded cheese.
Add milk and stir just enough to hold dough together.
Place on a lightly floured surface and knead lightly; roll 3/4-inch thick.
Cut with floured biscuit cutter without turning the biscuit cutter (push straight down) and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425Β° for 12 to 15 minutes or until as brown as desired.

Twelve 2-inch biscuits.
