Herb Fried Chicken
Herb Fried Chicken is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 fryer chicken, cut up, 6 eggs, 1/2 c. beer (optional), 1 to 2 c. flour and 1/2 to 1 c. oats, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In food processor or blender, combine flour, oats, spices and herbs.
Process slightly.
Set aside.
Beat egg whites and beer until foamy, place in shallow dish.
Dip chicken in egg mixture and then roll in flour mixture.
Fry in oil.
Remaining flour mixture may be used to make milk gravy and served with chicken.
