Helen'S Favorite Lime Sherbet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3 c. water, 1 1/2 c. lime juice, 1/2 tsp. salt and 6 c. cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Boil sugar and water together until it forms a thick syrup. Add salt, allow mixture to cool.
Add cream, lime juice and vanilla; freeze.
