Helen'S Favorite Cake Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1 angel food cake mix, 1 can pineapple chunks, drained and 1 large whipped topping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Bake cake according to directions on box.
When cool, slice crosswise through middle of cake.
(Dental floss works well for slicing.)
Mix drained pineapple with whipped topping.
Spread over bottom half.
Replace upper half of cake, frosting with remaining pineapple and whipped topping.
Can decorate with maraschino cherries.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
