Heavenly Rice Dessert
Heavenly Rice Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. rice, 1 bottle maraschino cherries, sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook rice.
Rinse and drain well, let stand and cool.
Put in maraschino cherries which have been drained and cut in half.
Add sugar to taste.
Add vanilla.
Add pineapple, drained, and marshmallows (tiny colored ones gives it a lot of color).
Add Cool Whip or whipped cream.
Place in mold and chill well before serving.
