Heath Bar Candy
Heath Bar Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or oleo, 3 tbsp. water, 2 tbsp. dark karo and 1 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Put in heavy and melt over low heat the butter or oleo, water and hot, add sugar.
Cook to 310Β° on candy thermometer.
Careful. At this heat it will scorch easily. Pour out on well buttered cookie sheet.
When partly cool, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
When soft, spread with knife. Refrigerate until cool.
Crack with knife.
