Hearty Whole Wheat Bread
Hearty Whole Wheat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 oz. yeast, 1 heaping c. lukewarm water, 4 tbsp. honey, 7 to 8 tbsp. margarine and 1/4 to 1/2 c. dry milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Soften yeast in lukewarm water with honey.
Melt margarine in saucepan.
Cool slightly.
When yeast is bubbly, add 4 more heaping cups warm water, milk, salt, the melted shortening, bran and wheat germ.
Mix and add flours (the total amount will equal almost 5 pounds of flour).
Knead well.
Place in a warm place in greased bowl.
