Hearts Of Gold is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, melted, 1 (12 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese, grated, 1 c. flour, dash of cayenne pepper and 1 1/2 c. roasted peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pour butter over grated cheese; mix well. Add flour and cayenne pepper gradually. Pinch off dough the size of a marble. Flatten and put a nut into the center. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
These can be frozen or refrigerated.
Remove about 1 hour before serving.
