Hearth Bread
Hearth Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter or margarine (room temperature), 1 tbsp. poppy seed, 1 tbsp. prepared mustard, 2 loaves sourdough pull-aparts and swiss cheese slices (about 1 lb.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cream together butter, poppy seed and mustard.
Butter between sourdough slices; save some butter for outside of bread.
Put a Swiss cheese slice between each.
Use remaining butter and put 1/2 strip bacon on top of each slice.
Place on foil but keep top open.
Put foil on cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° for about 20 minutes.
Pull apart to serve.
