Heart Association's Chicken Salad Casserole
Heart Association'S Chicken Salad Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey, 1 small green pepper, diced, 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained, 1/2 c. slivered water chestnuts or almonds and 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Simmer green pepper in water until nearly tender; drain. Combine milk with mayonnaise.
Add pimento, green pepper, mushrooms, water chestnuts, chicken and salt.
Place in 1-quart casserole.
Cover and bake 20 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Makes 4 servings at about 260 calories each.
