Hawaiian-Style Hot Curried Fruit
Hawaiian-Style Hot Curried Fruit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans large chunk fruit (salad), 1 can dark pitted sweet cherries, 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, 2 bananas and 1/2 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Drain fruits (reserve 6 tablespoons of juice) and put in buttered glass baking dish.
Cut and arrange bananas on top. Combine and mix together the brown sugar, cornstarch and curry powder.
Add fruit juice and butter.
Pour mixture over fruits. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Makes 6 servings.
