Hawaiian Rice
Hawaiian Rice is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. long grain white rice (uncooked), 2 cans campbell's consomme soup, plus 2 c. water, 1 large brown onion, chopped, 1 large bell pepper, chopped and 2 cubes butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a large electric skillet, melt butter.
Saute onion and bell pepper until tender, but firm.
Add the consomme soup (mixed with 2 cups water) and the white rice.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour, stirring every so often to avoid sticking.
It may be necessary to reduce heat.
(May also be placed in a large Pyrex bowl, after bell pepper and onion are sauteed, with all ingredients.)
