Hawaiian Fudge
Hawaiian Fudge is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in just 42 minutes. Made with c. sugar, c. rich milk or cream, small can crushed pineapple, drained, c. pecans and few drops green food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine sugar, milk or cream and well drained pineapple. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until mixture reaches the soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add pecans and coloring. Let cool slightly and then beat until creamy.
Pour into a greased loaf pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
Yields 18 squares.
