Hash Brown Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed, 3/4 c. butter, melted, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted and 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Stir well. Pour in greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.
Toss crushed cereal with remaining 1/4 cup butter.
Sprinkle on potato mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
