Hash Brown Casserole
Hash Brown Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 c. melted margarine, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/4 c. melted margarine and 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Saute onion in margarine until tender.
Combine with soup and sour cream in bowl.
Add potatoes, cheese, salt and pepper, stirring well.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Toss corn flakes with 1/4 cup melted margarine. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake 15 minutes longer.
Serves 10 to 12.
