Hamburger Stroganoff
Hamburger Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onion in butter until meat is brown and onion is tender.
Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes.
Stir in soup; heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream; heat through.
Serve over noodles or rice.
