Hamburger Jalapeño Pinto Bean Casserole
Hamburger Jalapeño Pinto Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger meat, salt and pepper, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 cans trapeze jalapeño pinto beans (hard to find) and 2 c. cooked minute long grain rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown hamburger meat.
Add salt, pepper and onion.
Drain and add all ingredients except cheese.
Stir and pour into a large casserole dish.
Cover with grated cheese.
Cook at 350° for 45 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
Can be cooked in crock-pot on high.
If cooked in crock-pot, take off cover last 20 minutes so it can set.
