Ham Hodgepodge
Ham Hodgepodge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 med. head cabbage coarsely chopped (5 c.), 6 lg. carrots, 1 inch cuts, 2 lg. potatoes, chopped, 2 c. (10 oz.) diced cooked ham and 1 med. onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In large sauce pan or dutch oven, combine cabbage, carrots, potatoes, ham, onion, water and seasonings.
Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until vegetables are done.
Add undrained beans and cook covered 10 to 15 minutes longer.
Add more water if necessary.
6 to 8 servings.
