Gumdrop Cake
Gumdrop Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. gumdrops, cut into quarters (no black), 1 lb. white raisins, 1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped, 1 1/2 c. applesauce and 1 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix baking soda in hot water; set aside.
Crem butter and sugar together; add beaten eggs.
Mix completely; set aside.
Cut gumdrops into 2 cups of flour.
Add applesauce to flour; mix well. Add raisins; mix well.
Add walnuts and mix well.
Add butter mixture; mix well.
Add flour with gumdrops; mix well.
Add soda and water; mix well.
Bake in a well-greased and floured angel food cake pan.
Bake at 300° to 325° for 2 hours.
Cool in pan. Run knife around the sides to loosen.
Remove carefully from pan.
