Gum Drop Bread
Gum Drop Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. biscuit/baking mix, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/4 c. milk and 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a bowl combine biscuit mix and sugar.
In another bowl beat egg and milk.
Add to dry ingredients and stir well.
Add nuts and gumdrops and stir until just mixed.
Pour into 3 greased 5 3/4 in. x 2 in. x 3 in. loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Yield 3 mini loaves.
