Grits Casserole
Grits Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. hominy grits, 1 stick butter and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Add salt to water; bring to boil.
Add grits slowly, keeping water at a brisk boil.
Cover and cook slowly for about 1 hour or until grits are soft, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Stir in butter and milk, then cheese, garlic and Worcestershire sauce.
Cool to lukewarm.
Beat in eggs and pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
