Green Rice
Green Rice is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with c. rice, c. chopped onion, c. chopped bell pepper, . dried parsley and chicken bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Use no salt.
Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until transparent.
Add water and bouillon cubes.
Bring to a boil to dissolve cubes.
Add rice, parsley and pepper.
Bake in a deep 2-quart casserole, covered, for 3/4 to 1 hour or until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
Oven should be at 350Β°.
Remove from oven, flake rice with fork, replace cover and let steam for 10 minutes before serving.
